Whipped Banana Pudding
Easter edition Whipped Banana Pudding! And nope…it’s not too sweet!
One Thanksgiving my father showed me his mother’s banana pudding recipe. Made from scratch, old skool style with the custard, meringue & everything!
That’s an extra special occasion recipe bc it takes some serious time & effort. But my Whipped Banana Pudding recipe you can do quick, easy & it’s sooo good. If you try it out this Easter let me know how you like it! #LetsVibe
Ingredients
1 box Nilla wafers
1 pack Golden Oreos
1 pack Chessmen Cookies
1 pack vanilla wafers
1 ripe banana
For Pudding
3 boxes Jell-O banana cream pudding (3.4 oz each)
1 quart half ‘n half
2 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
For Whipped Cream
1 quart heavy cream
1.5 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Add all Pudding Ingredients to mixing bowl & whisk (or use hand mixer) until well combined then set aside
In a separate mixing bowl (or stand mixer) add all whipped cream ingredients & whip on low speed, gradually increasing to med/high speed until stiff peaks form (about 6-8 minutes)
Add whipped cream to prepared pudding & gently fold in then whisk until well combined.
Optional: fold in confetti sprinkles for a fun color pop!
Peel & slice 1 banana into 1/8” pieces
Layer whipped pudding mixture, Nilla wafers & bananas in your serving dish & repeat
Top with remaining whipped pudding, crumbled Nilla wafers, optional caramel sauce, whole Nilla wafers, Golden Oreos, Chessmen Cookies & vanilla wafers
Allow to chill in fridge at least 4 hours or overnight to soften cookies & enjoy!
