Million Dollar Mango Margaritas

It wouldn't be Cinco without a bangin' margarita recipe! Make my Million Dollar Mango Margaritas & I promise you'll forever be the life of the party!

For this recipe I used @jonbasiltequila. It's a #blackowned spirits brand & they produce a top tier product! If your local liquor store doesn't stock it, ASK FOR IT by name! Jon Basíl Tequila.

When it comes to tequila I prefer the smooth taste of reposado over blanco but Jon Basíl produces both so the choice is yours! #LetsVibe

Cinco de Mayo mango margarita jon basil tequila

Ingredients

For Mango Margarita

1.5 cups Jon Basíl tequila, reposado

3/4 cup Grand Marnier

1/2 cup fresh lime juice

1/4 cup pineapple juice

3 Tbsp agave syrup

2 cups frozen mango chunks

2-3 cups ice

For Strawberry Syrup

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
can substitute frozen strawberries

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup white sugar

Instructions

Add all Strawberry Syrup ingredients to a small sauce pan & bring to a boil on medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved

Add cooked strawberry mixture to blender & blend on high until smooth then set aside in fridge to cool

Strawberry Syrup can be made well ahead of time to make sure it’s completely chilled

Rub sliced lime over the top rim of margarita glasses then dip rim of glass in a plate filled with white sugar or salt if you prefer

Add all Mango Margarita ingredients to blender & blend on high until smooth, using more or less ice depending on how thick you like your margs

Add 2-3 oz of cooled Strawberry Syrup to sugar rimmed glasses first, followed by blended Mango Margarita to fill glass

Garnish with a sliced lime, optional tequila float & enjoy responsibly!
