How to Light a Grill with a Charcoal Chimney
You cannot BBQ if you still use lighter fluid to light the grill! At least that’s what some people think…
Since I missed the meeting when lighter fluid got cancelled this is how you start your grill using a charcoal chimney & it’s so easy for you to try! #LetsVibe
Instructions
Start by placing your fire starter underneath your chimney.
Place your chimney on top of your grill fire rack then fill with charcoal.
Use a stem lighter to ignite the fire starter underneath the chimney evenly in multiple places.
Allow the coals to burn, untouched, until they turn a uniform ashy gray color and are white hot.
Carefully pour the hot coals from the chimney onto your grill fire rack, spreading out the hot coals evenly using a grilling stick or tongs.
Add another layer of fresh charcoal for a longer burn and more even heat distribution.
Once the coals are hot and evenly distributed, place the grill grates on top and allow them to heat up before cooking.
Enjoy good grilling vibes all summer long!
